Paola A. Sánchez, PhD

She received the Bs. degree in industrial engineering in 2001, the MS degree in Systems Engineering in 2006, and the PhD degree in Engineering in 2012, all of them from the Universidad Nacional de Colombia, Medellin, Colombia. Since 2005 she has worked in education as a teacher in different universities. At present, she is associate professor of the engineering faculty in the Universidad Simón Bolívar, Barranquilla, Colombia. Her current interests are in develop and understanding of methods of computational intelligence in modeling and forecasting of time series; quantitative optimization; application of knowledge extraction techniques in databases using computational intelligence; develop of intelligent systems with learning machine.
